چکیده
Background and objective: In recent years, carbapenemase-producing Enterobacterales (CPE) resistance to antibiotics has dramatically increased leading limitations of their treatment options. the present study, we investigated occurrence Escherichia coli Salmonella in rural Burkina Faso.Materials methods: isolates were serotyped according Kauffman White scheme. Diarrheagenic (DEC) strains was identified using 16-plex Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR), whereas antibiotic susceptibility realized disk diffusion method. Furthermore, multiplex PCR assays carried out oligonucleotides detect presence genes blaKPC, blaVIM, blaIMP, blaTEM, blaSHV, blaOXA blaCTX-M types all E. strains. Results: The study highlighted high rates bacteria common antibiotics. Likewise, two imipenem resistant with carbapenemase-encoding genes. detected Klebsiella pneumoniae carbapenemase (KPC), Verona integrin-encoded metallo-β-lactamase (VIM) Imipenemase (IMP-2) reaching a rate 40% each strains. However, no carbapenemases blaVIM or blaIMP detected. Conclusion: This showed that for real-time infection control prompt application antimicrobial chemotherapy, characterization patients is crucial. Keywords: Antibiotics, Carbapenemase-Producing Enterobacterales, children, Faso
